NEW WATER

1. Have the pH and alkaline levels of the spa water checked in store. It is also possible to check it at home with test strips.
2. Balance the water according to the test results.
3. Add 180 ml of anti-scale to protect your spa from scale formation in the plumbing and water heater.
4. Add an initial dosage of chlorine.
5. Finally, for a complete treatment, you must add 2 tablespoons of shock treatment.

USE OF CHLORINE

In slow dissolving tablets (TCL ≈ 91%):

1. 1. Add 1 chlorine tablet to a float (up to 2 at a time). You will generally need 2 to 3 tablets per week depending on use.
2. Check the chlorine level regularly.
3. Add a tablet when the chlorine level drops too low.
4. If necessary, when the water is cloudy, add 2 tablespoons of shock treatment in order to eliminate the waste produced by chlorine (bromine actually contains a chlorine concentration).

In quick dissolving tablets (TCL ≈ 56%)

1. Add 1 chlorine tablet directly to the spa (only 1 tablet at a time). You will generally need 2 to 4 tablets per week depending on use.
2. Check the chlorine level regularly.
3. Add a tablet when the chlorine level drops too low.
4. When the water looks cloudy, add 2 tablespoons of treatment
5. shock in order to destroy the waste produced by chlorine. (additional to weekly treatment)

In granules (TCL ≈ 56%)

1. Add 1 tablespoon of granulated chlorine after each use. Minimum 2 tablespoons of chlorine per week, regardless of use.
2. Check the chlorine level regularly.
3. Add granules when the chlorine level drops too low.
4. When the water seems cloudy, add 2 tablespoons of shock treatment to destroy the waste produced by chlorine. (additional to weekly treatment)

GENERAL WATER MAINTENANCE

Weekly :

1. Add 90 ml of scale control.
2. Add 2 tablespoons of shock treatment.
3. Check the condition of the filters and rinse/wash them as necessary.

Monthly:

1. Take out and rinse the filters.
2. In a separate tank, prepare a water solution with the filter cleaner.
3. Place the filters in the solution so that they are completely submerged.
4. Leave the filters to soak for 12 hours.
5. Remove the filters from the solution to rinse them again and allow to air dry.
6. Leave to air dry, the filters should only be put back in place once completely dried.

  • It is strongly recommended to use another set of filters during filter cleaning to avoid leaving the spa without filtration for a period of 24 hours or more.
  • In addition, when there is no filter you expose your pumps to all the debris which can access them directly through the filtration piping which is no longer protected by the filters.

IMPORTANT :There must always be a minimum of 2 hours between each addition of chemicals to avoid interactions that may cause adverse reactions.
